Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, located in Somerset, NJ, is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a client in Somerset, NJ. This per diem role supports daily living activities in the home.

Starting at $19/hour, you’ll enjoy weekly pay every Friday, flexible scheduling, and the chance to help the client stay safe and independent at home. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, meal prep, and driving as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required.
• Current physical examination.
• PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray, as required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Newly certified HHAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support activities of daily living and provide medication reminders.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
