Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a CNA to provide personal care, household support, and companion care to adults in their homes across Mecklenburg, Union, and Anson counties under a per-visit arrangement. You will follow a plan of care set by a registered nurse and work with a dedicated assistive care team.

Eligible candidates have at least one year of experience, CNA certification, and a passion for compassionate home care.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of work experience.
• Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a CNA.
• A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care per written plan of care.
• Develop close relationships with clients while assisting with daily living activities.
• Support with activities of daily living, meal preparation, mobility and vital sign checks.
