Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per-visit basis in the Assistive Care Division. You will follow a written plan of care to provide personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of work experience.
• Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified as a CNA.
• A passion for caregiving and helping others.
• Commitment to presence and quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support and companion care per written plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.).
• Perform meal preparation and feeding, range of motion exercises and ambulation assistance.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs as directed.
