Job summary

Journey Nursing Services in Washington State is seeking a dedicated, full-time caregiver with an active CNA or HCA license to deliver in-home and facility-based care. You will follow individualized care plans, assist with ADLs, and maintain patient dignity and choice in a people-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA or HCA license to provide home care in Washington State.
• Experience as a Home Care Aide preferred.
• Be listed in good standing with WA DSHS Background Check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• On-call caregiver rotation.
• Provide hands-on patient care in-home, facility, or adult family home.
• Uphold patient/client rights, dignity, and individuality.
• Assist with ADLs including grooming, bathing, feeding, and toileting.
• Promote skin integrity and prevent ulcers.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.
