Job summary

Menchey Music’s Westminster studio is seeking a passionate drumset instructor to teach private lessons to students of varied ages. You’ll create engaging, personalized lessons, help students prepare for recitals, and foster a supportive learning environment.

The role offers established enrollment systems, full administrative support, dedicated studio space, and performance opportunities. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of college-level music training or 5 years teaching or performance

Qualifications

• 2 years of college-level music training OR 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in music education or performance preferred; degree candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred.
• Background checks required, including recurring checks every three years.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging private lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create a positive, encouraging and educational lesson environment.
• Help students grow musically, prepare for recitals, and participate in performance opportunities.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records using the digital scheduling system.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism and enthusiasm daily.
