As a generalist on the Private Credit Solutions team, you will collaborate with sponsor-backed and public clients, interact with banks and funds, and gain hands-on deal experience from pitch to close while developing core corporate finance and valuation skills

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant work experience in investment banking / private equity / corporate roles.
• One internal promotion at their existing employer
• Undergraduate degree (business/economics) and/or MBA from a strong academic institution
• Top academic performer and a quick learner capable of performing in an unstructured environment

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with a talented, dedicated staff of senior professionals
• Assist with evaluating and structuring customized financing alternatives for private equity and corporate clients
• Interact with a variety of investors, including banks, private credit funds, hybrid capital funds, junior capital funds, hedge funds, asset managers, and family offices
• Gain hands-on transaction experience by playing an integral role on deal teams from the initial pitch through closing
• Develop general corporate finance and valuation skills relevant to raising capital, while building a detailed understanding of key developments in the debt and equity capital markets
• Interact with a broad range of businesses across different industries and with unique capital needs
