Job summary

Ultimus-Leverpoint-Private-Fund-Solutions seeks an Associate Manager for Private Credit Fund Accounting to oversee monthly and quarterly closes, general ledger, trial balances, and related schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will interact with General Partners, review loan-originations accounting, interest income, PIK, OID/premium, and coordinate with auditors, while managing multiple client deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ experience in Accounting or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA or MSA) preferred.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of private credit instruments and related concepts (interest accruals, PIK, OID/premium).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly and quarterly close for private credit funds, including preparation and review of the general ledger, trial balance, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee the preparation of schedules to support the general ledger balances reported in the financial statements.
• Communicate with General Partners and respond promptly to information requests.
• Review and approve accounting for loan originations, purchases, sales, and paydowns.
• Oversee calculation and recording of interest income, PIK income, OID/premium, and amortization.
• Interact with auditors and provide reports to assist during the audit.
• Ability to multi-task between different tasks, client deliverables and internal demands.
• Review borrowing base reporting and lender compliance deliverables where funds utilize subscription lines, warehouse facilities, or leverage structures.
• Understand and interpret fund governing documents (LPA, credit agreements, side letters).
