Job summary

The Metropolitan Club of the City of Washington is seeking a hospitality professional for a private club dining room. The role offers consistent Monday through Friday hours with non-weekend shifts and an hourly rate starting at $23, plus potential bonus opportunities.

You will deliver exemplary service, assist with wine service, maintain a neat uniform, and work closely with the kitchen and service teams using Jonas POS to ensure flawless dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience serving distinguished clientele is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enlightened hospitality with a smile.
• Suggestively sell wine and cocktails; deliver proper wine service.
• Anticipate members' wishes and resolve service issues.
• Maintain station, ensure correct timing of courses, and entry orders in Jonas POS.
• Clear and reset tables; participate in pre-opening/closing sidework.
• Coordinate dietary requests with kitchen staff.
