The Metropolitan Club in Washington, DC is hiring hospitality professionals for fine-dining service with consistent Monday through Friday hours and an hourly rate (no gratuity). You will deliver polished service in a historic private city club, catering to distinguished members with discretion and civility.

The position is part-time, 20 hours per week, evenings, with starting pay at $22 per hour based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment (preferred).
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to suggestively sell wine and cocktails; deliver proper wine service.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn a traditional service style.

Responsabilités

• Deliver fine-dining service with civility and outstanding guest experience.
• Maintain station control and proper timing of courses.
• Accurate order entry using Jonas POS.
• Clear and reset tables; assist with sidework and pre-opening tasks.
• Coordinate dietary needs with the kitchen team and staff.
• Proactively resolve member and guest service issues.
