Job summary

Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking an A La Carte Server for a full-time role. You will deliver warm, attentive, professional service to members and guests across all dining areas, upholding the high standards of a private club.

Greet guests by name, guide them through menus and wine selections, take orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining table settings. Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays; compensation includes $16.90–$18.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience preferred; private club or fine dining experience a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
• Professional appearance and member-first mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Competitive hourly wage + service charge

Responsibilities

• Provide gracious, efficient, and knowledgeable service throughout each shift
• Greet members by name and build positive, professional relationships
• Guide members through menus, specials, and wine selections
• Accurately take orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
• Maintain table standards, including proper settings, clearing, and resetting
• Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and station organization
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
• Support banquet or event service as needed
