Qualifications

• 1+ years of serving experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or private club environments preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
• Current food safety/alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the service schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-service dining with accuracy, timing, and polish across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and private events as scheduled.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the menu, preparation methods, and ingredients to answer questions and make informed recommendations.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth course timing and order accuracy.
• Set, maintain, and reset tables to The June's presentation standards.
• Handle member and guest requests, substitutions, and concerns with grace and discretion.
• Learn member names, preferences, and habits to deliver a personalized experience over repeat visits.
• Anticipate needs before they're voiced, from beverage refills to dietary accommodations.
• Represent The June's tone and standards in every interaction, on and off the floor.
• Follow proper POS, check-handling, and payment procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
• Support opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Uphold all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
