Plantation Golf & Country Club in Venice, Florida seeks a full-time Second Assistant Golf Professional to join our Golf Operations team. The role supports golf shop operations, member experience, tournaments, and instruction, delivering high-level service to a private, 36-hole club.
The successful candidate will have PGA Associate status or be pursuing PGA membership, strong communication, organization, and a passion for golf and member service; weekend availability is expected.
Qualifications
- Experience in golf operations at private clubs or resorts.
- Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and tournament operations.
- Experience with tee sheet management, tournament software, and POS systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to member service and attention to detail.
Responsabilités
- Deliver personalized service to members and guests.
- Oversee daily golf operations in a professional, welcoming environment.
- Manage tee sheet reservations, cancellations, and member requests.
- Monitor pace of play and course utilization to enhance the experience.
- Support outside operations team and daily shop opening/closing procedures.
- Assist in planning and executing member tournaments and events.
- Provide golf instruction and participate in junior programs when needed.
- Maintain professional presence and engage with members daily.
