Job summary

The Club at Crested Butte in Crested Butte, CO is seeking a General Manager to lead operations for our premier private club. You will oversee daily operations, financial performance, and guest experiences, setting service standards and guiding a team with Troon and Ownership support.

Ideal candidates bring private club leadership, strong financial acumen, and a collaborative, energetic leadership style. The role requires engaging with Members, staff, and the local community while driving

Qualifications

Private club leadership experience at a high-end club, preferably with Membership, Golf Operations or F&B.
Outgoing, personable and energetic leadership style with strong decision-making.
Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, profitability, and operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, club management systems and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Maintain a visible, approachable presence with Members and guests.
Lead, mentor, and develop department managers while fostering a service culture.
Oversee all club operations, ensuring consistent service and efficiency.
Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; monitor performance.
Maintain open communication with Troon and Ownership; provide timely updates.
Develop and execute annual business plans and long-term initiatives.
Leverage technology to enhance operations and the Member experience.
Ensure facilities and grounds meet premier private club standards.
Represent the Club in the Crested Butte community.
