Job summary

Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst seeks a Director of Food & Beverage to lead all dining outlets, banquets, and beverage programs, delivering exceptional Member and guest experiences while achieving financial goals.

You will collaborate with the Executive Chef and Club Leadership to elevate service standards, develop high-performing teams, and create memorable dining events that engage Members and elevate the overall Club experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Culinary Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience, preferably within a private club, resort, or upscale hospitality environment.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required. TIPS Certification or equivalent alcohol-service certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple food and beverage outlets and managing large teams.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor planning, inventory control, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walk dining rooms and function halls during meal service to interact with Members and guests and ensure standards.
• Provide direct leadership to front-of-house management teams and lead all food and beverage operations.
• Take ownership of the Member experience, ensuring operations are consistently ready in appearance and service.
• Oversee beverage programs, including wine, beer, spirits, cocktail offerings, and promotional initiatives.
• Develop and execute F&B strategies to enhance Member satisfaction and utilization.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, labor plans, and financial performance metrics.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop F&B managers and staff.
• Partner with Club Leadership to support Member engagement, weddings, private functions, and events.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and health requirements.
