Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Private Cloud Service Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of Private Cloud, network, and AI Platform services for the Texas DIR. You will provide operational leadership across ADC and SDC, ensure SLA attainment, and oversee lifecycle, incident, and CMDB processes.

This role requires extensive experience in enterprise data center operations, ITIL practices, and service delivery in regulated environments, with a strong focus on cross-team collaboration and vendor coordination

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience; may have supervisory or management experience.
• 7+ years of private cloud or enterprise data center managed services operations experience.
• Hands-on VMware vCenter/vSphere experience — required.
• Experience managing tiered storage environments, including SAN/NAS, with compute.
• Experience with ITIL-based service management operations.
• Experience managing infrastructure in a government or regulated environment.
• Familiarity with the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
• Experience within MSI/multi-vendor government IT delivery models.
• Demonstrated experience with incident management, problem management, SLA management, and enterprise service delivery.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain required agency clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall operational accountability for Private Cloud, network, and AI Platform service delivery.
• Ensure SLA attainment across all applicable service tiers.
• Manage compute and VM lifecycle management across the Austin Data Center (ADC) and San Angelo Data Center (SDC).
• Provide AI Platform service delivery when Sovereign AI Platform is implemented.
• Lead day-to-day incident and problem management (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
• Manage ServiceNow service catalog fulfillment.
• Maintain CMDB accuracy and configuration management.
• Coordinate service delivery across Private Cloud, network, compute, storage, cloud, and AI/GPU environments as applicable.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure achievement of contractual service levels.
• Coordinate with other service delivery teams and vendors within the MSI/multi-vendor operating model.
• Support continuous improvement of service management and operational processes.

Peraton is hiring for a Private Cloud Service Delivery Managerto support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) with overall accountability forPrivate Cloud, network, and AI Platform service delivery.

The Service Delivery Manager will provide operational leadership across the Private Cloud, network, and AI Platform environments, ensuring service-level attainment, infrastructure lifecycle management, incident and problem management, ServiceNow service fulfillment, and CMDB accuracy.

This position supports operations across both theAustin Data Center (ADC)andSan Angelo Data Center (SDC). This position supports both Austin Data Center (ADC) and San Angelo Data Center (SDC)

Key Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with theServiceNow ITSM platform.
• Experience working withinMSI/multi-vendor government IT delivery models.
• Demonstrated experience with incident management, problem management, SLA management, and enterprise service delivery.
• Strong operational leadership and communication skills.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification — required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
