Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Private Cloud Information Security Officer to join our Austin team. This senior, client-facing role provides security leadership, governance, compliance oversight, and risk management for private cloud services supporting enterprise and public-sector customers.

The role requires working with multiple teams and stakeholders to maintain security posture and enable secure cloud delivery. The position is based in Austin, Texas with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of overall information technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud security, system administration, or security engineering experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience as ISO/ISSO/security manager/lead in enterprise or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead security governance and compliance oversight for private cloud platforms and related infrastructure.
• Serve as principal security advisor to account leadership and operational teams on risks, controls, and remediation priorities.
• Maintain a strong operational security posture by aligning controls with contractual, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate risk identification, assessment, treatment, tracking, and reporting across cloud infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with security, cloud operations, network, data protection, and service management teams on incident response and remediation actions.
• Support authorization, certification, audit, assessment, and evidence gathering for customer reviews and compliance reporting.
