• The Day Pitney Trusts & Estates Practice is nationally recognized for its sophisticated private client work on behalf of high-net-worth individuals, families, and fiduciaries, holding a Band 1 ranking in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide since 2016 and consistently ranked among top Trusts & Estates practices. The group includes multiple Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
• The role requires demonstrated experience in high-net-worth trust and estate planning and administration, including relevant state and federal tax laws, domestic estate planning (succession, lifetime giving, estate and income taxation, charitable giving), estate planning for retirement assets, and tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies.
• The firm offers a hybrid work environment allowing attorneys to work remotely two days per week, with flexibility on in-office days and consideration for part-time candidates or those preferring other Day Pitney offices outside New York.
