Job summary

Day Pitney LLP's Private Client Department (PCD) seeks an associate with at least 3 years of trusts and estates experience to join our nationally recognized practice in Parsippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will handle high-net-worth trust and estate planning and administration, including tax considerations, with strong communication and client service skills.

Job description

Day Pitney's Private Client Department (PCD) is seeking an associate with a minimum of 3 years of trusts and estates experience to join our nationally recognized practice in our Parsippany, NJ office.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in high-net-worth trust and estate planning and administration, including knowledge of relevant state and federal tax laws. Experience with domestic estate planning, including succession planning, lifetime giving, estate, inheritance and income taxation issues, and tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base annual salary range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000. The actual salary offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, office location, and other job-related factors.

Attorneys may also be eligible for a discretionary year-end merit bonus in accordance with the Firm’s applicable bonus program.
