Executive Staffing Group (ESG) is assisting a nationally recognized advisory and consulting firm seeking a Managing Director or Partner to lead the Private Client & Family Office Advisory practice. This role blends deep tax expertise with a consultative mindset and strong business development to grow client relationships nationwide.

Qualifications

• CPA is required; MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive public accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience advising sophisticated private clients, business owners, and family offices.
• Proven business development success with a track record of expanding client relationships and generating revenue.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
• Existing market relationships and an established book of business are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, executives, and closely held businesses.
• Provide strategic tax planning and business advisory services across complex financial, ownership, and wealth planning matters.
• Advise clients through liquidity events, business sales, succession planning, wealth transfer strategies, trust structures, executive compensation, and multi-state or international planning.
• Build long-term advisory relationships that extend well beyond annual tax compliance.
• Drive growth of the Private Client & Family Office Advisory practice through new client acquisition and cross-selling.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing tax professionals and future leaders.
