Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academics.

• 5–7 years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills including complex wills and trusts.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters including planning, tax strategies, and administration.
• Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs.
• Administer estates from probate through final closing, including tax filings.
• Prepare client presentations and perform tax calculations and analyses.
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service.

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Private Client Services Practice Group in New York City. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney to work with high-net-worth individuals on complex trust and estate matters while developing expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• New York Bar Admission or the ability towaivein.
• LL.M. and strong tax background required.
• 5-7 years of substantivelaw firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills , including experience with complex wills and trusts.
• Proficiency in preparing client presentations , tax calculations and analysis , and administering estates from probate throughclosing.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact.
• Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise high-net-worth clientson trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration.

• Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met.
