Job summary

Howden is seeking an Account Handler for its Private Clients team in a collaborative, office-based setting. You will nurture relationships with high-net-worth clients, coordinate with insurers, and drive renewals and cross-sell opportunities.

The role emphasizes service quality, regulatory alignment, and ongoing professional development, with a flexible, hybrid work model. Prior experience in private client insurance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Private or High-Net-Worth client service.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proven experience in building and nurturing lasting relationships with Private or High-Net-Worth clients.
• Consultative skills with active listening and questioning.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate positive relationships with current clients and ensure outstanding service.
• Attend client meetings, take notes, communicate with insurers, and prepare renewal presentations.
• Identify opportunities for existing clients and refer to appropriate teams.
• Support cross-sales targets and contribute to team success.
