Job summary

Howden Middle Market - Private Client Account Manager in Boston, MA or New Hampshire with a hybrid work schedule. You will manage personal lines and private client accounts, coordinate renewals, endorsements, and policy changes, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

You will collaborate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to deliver high-quality service, maintain accurate records, support retention and growth, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or servicing personal lines or high-value private client accounts in an agency or brokerage.
• Solid knowledge of personal insurance products.
• Experience in servicing high-value private client portfolios is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of personal lines and private client accounts, providing timely, accurate, and professional service throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Coordinate new business, renewal, endorsement, cancellation, and remarketing activity within service timelines.
• Review client exposures, coverage terms, limits, deductibles, and exclusions, discussing items with clients, producers, or carriers.
• Prepare renewal materials, coverage summaries, proposals, applications, and client-facing documentation with producers and carrier reps.
• Obtain quotes and coverage options from markets, compare terms, and present solutions to clients.
• Process policy changes, certificates, and billing inquiries while maintaining complete records.
• Monitor renewals, carrier requirements, and deliverables, escalating concerns and driving resolution.
