Job summary

Howden is seeking a Howden Middle Market - Private Client Account Manager in Boston, MA or New Hampshire with a hybrid work schedule. You will manage personal lines and private client accounts, coordinating renewals, endorsements, and client service across carriers and producers.

The role requires experience with personal insurance products, strong client service, and solid analytical skills. A licensed or license-ready candidate is preferred, with base compensation in a competitive salary band

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing or servicing personal lines, private client, or high-value personal insurance accounts.
• Working knowledge of personal insurance products, policy forms, coverage concepts, carrier processes, renewals, endorsements, and account documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts with accuracy, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail.
• Client-focused professional with a proactive service mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review coverage information and coordinate solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and agency management systems; P&C license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of personal lines and private client accounts, handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Maintain trusted relationships with clients, producers, underwriters, carrier partners, and internal colleagues to support retention and growth.
• Track renewals, service items, and documentation; provide updates to stakeholders and support book reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve service quality and efficiency.
