Job summary

Janney is seeking a Private Client Associate in Washington, DC to support branch success by administering, marketing and growing client relationships alongside Financial Advisors. You will help develop and maintain client relationships through organized campaigns and proactive service.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, effective communication, initiative, and teamwork, with licensing goals and modern office tools usage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Prior office experience preferred but not required.
• Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 preferred or if unlicensed able to obtain licensing within nine months from date of hire.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Able to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• High ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering client relationships alongside Janney Financial Advisors.
• Support marketing and growth of client relationships through productivity-based campaigns.
• Organize and implement productivity-based campaigns.
• Perform operational responsibilities as needed.
