Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to serve patients in Tampa and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, support with daily living activities, and companionship in patients' homes, following a plan of care from a registered nurse, with training and flexible scheduling.

We offer weekly pay, health benefits, varying shifts (4–12 hours), and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year work experience.
• Current HHA certificate (40-hour course) OR CNA license OR 1 year of hands-on caregiver experience.
• BLS CPR certification from American Red Cross/Heart Association/HSI/AASA.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services following a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and companionship to help adults stay safe at home.

Pay Range: $17-18/hour

Qualifications for a Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide certificate (at least 40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide (HHA)
• BLS Certified CPR (must be American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy)

What you'll do:

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA HHA, you'll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
