Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to support clients in the Seminole and Orange counties in Florida. You will provide personal care, companionship, and homemaker services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

You'll follow a nurse plan of care, receive training and flexible scheduling, and be part of a caring team dedicated to compassionate, reliable care. Travel to client homes is required as assigned.

Qualifications

• HHA certificate (75 hours) or CNA license.
• CPR certificate from an in-person class.
• One year of work experience in any company/industry.
• Current Level 2 Background Check through AHCA.
• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Commitment to delivering quality patient care with BAYADA standards.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services per a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making.
• Meal preparation and feeding for clients.
• Assist with range of motion and exercises.
• Assist with transfers/ambulation and use of lifting devices.
• Medication reminders and timely administration.

What you'll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care services , household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation ( Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
