You’ll help residents with personal care tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being. In addition to caring for residents, you'll maintain compliance with essential training and assist with daily activities. Qualifications

• One year experience working as a caregiver.
• Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification preferred.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Document shift assignments and report to nursing supervisor.
• Provide activities and maintain compliance with education development.

We are currently seeking an outstanding Full-Time, Private Duty Caregiver to join our team in Innovative Home Services, our Independent Living Home Health team!

Status: Full-Time

Shifts Available

• 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  
  

Salary: Starting at $12.50/hour based on experience and certification

Here Are a Few Of The Daily Responsibilities

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Maintains education development to include attending ongoing education development to maintain compliance with State and Federal Regulations and current knowledge of client care practices.
• Maintains Texas Certified Nursing Assistant certification.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification preferred
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification
• One (1) year experience working as a caregiver
