Job summary

Popular Bank is seeking a Sr Sales & Relationship Advisor for our Private Client team in Aventura, FL. You will lead a local group of Private Bankers, advise individuals and families on investments, wealth planning, and banking needs, and drive new client acquisition.

You will partner with leadership to execute market strategy and ensure exceptional client service. You will coach the team, connect clients to cross-division experts, and maintain adherence to risk and regulatory policies while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field plus 7+ years in wealth management and/or private banking.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership position.
• FINRA Series 7, 63, 65/66 and Insurance licenses preferred.
• Experience with investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts.
• Knowledge of equity and fixed income markets, cash management, and securities-based lending.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on investments, financial planning, credit and banking to grow assets.
• Lead a local team of Private Bankers and collaborate with leadership on market strategy.
• Develop and retain a team of Private Bankers; coach and mentor on best practices.
• Drive new client acquisition and manage relationships with current clients.
• Coordinate with internal specialists to serve clients across Popular Bank lines.
• Ensure solutions meet client needs and comply with risk and regulatory guidelines.
• Support marketing campaigns and product launches to achieve sales results.
