Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Mortgage Consultant to support the Home Loans team. The role focuses on expert guidance for jumbo mortgages, complex income/assets, and servicing affluent clients and their advisors throughout the origination cycle.

The position may be based in Dallas, TX or Tempe, AZ, with collaboration across Private Bankers and Financial Advisors to drive growth and exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of mortgage experience (sales and/or operations).
• Experience in client relationship management roles.
• Experience in loan origination.
• Wealth Management/Private Banking experience preferred.
• Eligible for FDIC-insured institution employment and NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Form deep working relationships with Financial Advisors and Personal Bankers.
• Provide expert advice and problem-solving to meet client mortgage needs.
• Work as part of a team to grow market share through referrals.
• Provide best rate execution and proper product selection.
• Own the client experience up to loan registration.
• Work with Private Bankers to reach growth targets.
• Maintain and follow up on a pipeline of client referrals.
• Analyze financial information to assess mortgage qualification options.
• Partner with Mortgage Specialist Team to ensure seamless transfer of applications.
• Handle inbound/outbound queue management and multiple call campaigns.
