Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking a Client Services Associate to support Securities Specialists with market updates, account maintenance, and client communications. The role develops disciplinary knowledge and helps monitor money managers performance using Capital Markets tools.

You will build relationships with a defined client base, manage high call volumes, and ensure compliant, timely processing of wires, transfers, and documentation, while safeguarding Citi's reputation.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• High proficiency of Capital Markets, Bloomberg, Reuters and Microsoft Office; monitor money managers performance and update monthly.
• Provide high level of support to Securities Specialists including client market updates, account openings/modifications, documentation, wires, journals and reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with client base and be familiar with target clients for investment products and offerings.
• Manage high call volume, screen and prioritize phone calls and respond to client inquiries.
• Liaise with Private Banking Universe and Wealth Team as applicable.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws, rules and Citi policies.
