Commerce Trust, a division of Commerce Bank, is seeking a Private Banking Client Associate I & II in Saint Joseph, MO. You will manage client relationships, support Private Bankers, and help prepare presentations and loan closings.

The role emphasizes delivering a superior client experience, maintaining CRM records, and identifying new clients through networking. Requires 2+ years banking experience and familiarity with internal systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• 2+ years of retail or commercial banking experience
• Experience with Commerce internal systems (Salesforce, Quest, Teller Connections) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of client relationships for 1-3 Private Bankers.
• Provide a superior client experience by completing tasks, resolving issues, and following up.
• Work closely with Private Bankers to build strong communication channels.
• Prepare client presentations and participate in joint calls when necessary.
• Assist in processing loans and scheduling closings.
• Document conversations in the CRM (Quest) and keep records up-to-date.
• Identify new clients and sales opportunities through client support and networking.
• Support other client associates by providing coverage and effective communication.
