First Western Trust in Jackson, WY is seeking a full-time, in-office Banking Associate to perform teller tasks and private banking transactions, delivering excellent client service in person, by phone, and by email.

You will open deposits, process transfers, assist with daily service requests, manage front desk duties, and help clients navigate online banking, while staying compliant with regulations and bank policies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent banking experience).
• 0–3 years of client-facing banking experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detailed knowledge of teller functions, client services, new deposit accounts, banking regulations, and compliance.
• Notary public certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and clearly explain financial products and services.

Aufgaben

• Perform teller functions, including cash handling, deposits, account transactions, and end-of-day processing.
• Process transfers, loan payments, and wire transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist clients with daily service requests, including check orders, statement copies, debit card disputes, account maintenance, and other banking needs.
• Manage front desk and administrative responsibilities, including greeting clients, opening and closing the office, answering phone calls, ordering supplies, and supporting meeting preparation.
• Provide assistance with online banking services and digital banking tools.
• Open new consumer deposit accounts, obtain bonus rate approvals when required, establish new products and services for existing clients, and complete client onboarding activities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and service excellence.
• Collaborate with team members across multiple departments including Operations, Compliance, and Security, to support client needs and business objectives.
• Serve as a knowledgeable and proactive resource on First Western’s consumer banking products and services.
• Maintain current knowledge of bank products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
