Job summary

MSCI Inc. is hiring a Research Analyst & Content Writer within the Private Assets R&D team in a hybrid capacity. You will blend quantitative research with high-quality financial writing to translate complex investment insights into clear client-ready content.

You’ll own the content function end-to-end, work with private assets data, draft commentary, and ensure technical accuracy across publications while upholding MSCI standards and voice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
• Experience in investment research, financial analysis, economics, or research-led financial writing.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and data-visualization tools; familiarity with research databases is advantageous.
• Analytical capability and ability to validate quantitative research; clear written communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Query MSCI private assets databases and generate original analyses and data insights with AI-assisted support.
• Create clear charts and data visualizations that communicate findings to clients and markets.
• Draft commentary on charts, data findings, and trends, preserving precision and MSCI voice.
• Provide technical and analytical review of content from Product, Marketing and external writers.
• Contribute to recurring publications of data-driven market insights and refreshed analyses.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and R&D to maintain analytical integrity.
