Job summary

Amazon seeks a Software Privacy Engineer for the Trust Platform & Automation within DSTP to build scalable privacy tools for Devices & Services. You will help raise the trust bar by designing privacy controls, data governance, and automation that scale across Amazon's devices and services.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply engineering solutions to privacy challenges, and contribute to project delivery in a fast-paced environment where security is a first-class consideration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
Experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation (non-internship).
Knowledge of databases, storage and big data concepts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
