Job summary

Natera is seeking a Data Privacy Manager to operationalize enterprise privacy capabilities across the organization, enabling responsible, compliant, and scalable innovation. This role is individual contributor and partners with cross-functional teams to embed privacy principles throughout data, technology, and product lifecycles.

You will help implement scalable privacy operations, evaluate new initiatives, and support regulatory requirements in commercial, clinical, and research environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; IAPP certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in privacy, healthcare compliance, or clinical research.
• Experience supporting enterprise privacy programs and governance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and privacy risk management.
• Data mapping, data flow analysis, and records of processing activities.
• Experience across commercial, clinical, research, product, and technology environments.
• Familiarity with analytics, automation, and new technologies and their privacy implications.
• Ability to translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience with program management and tools like JIRA and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support operationalization of enterprise privacy governance frameworks.
• Partner with Legal, Regulatory, HealthCare Compliance, Security, and AI and Data Governance teams to align privacy with governance initiatives.
• Advise business and technology partners on privacy requirements and evolving regulations.
• Support continuous improvement of privacy technology capabilities.
• Embed privacy-by-design into products and platforms with cross-functional partners.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize privacy operations.
