Job summary

You will translate privacy and business requirements into technical designs, drive secure development, and collaborate with privacy specialists to ensure compliant software behavior.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with backend or full-stack focus.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs, services, and cloud-based applications.
• Ability to write and review code, make architecture decisions, and deliver an MVP or proof of concept.
• Ability to collaborate with privacy specialists to translate requirements into software behavior.
• Strong communication skills across engineering and non-engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build MVP backend services, APIs, integrations, and a prototype.
• Lead MVP/PoC development to validate feasibility, UX, and privacy objectives.
• Implement privacy-related services such as consent management and data controls.
• Translate privacy, business, research, and quality requirements into designs and plan work.
• Define evolving architecture across mobile apps, portals, connected-vehicle services, and regions.
• Apply secure development practices and document key design decisions and risks.
