Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end privacy incident management program: detection workflows, response processes, escalation paths, communication standards, and remediation tracking.
• Serve as incident commander for privacy incidents with cross‑functional coordination.
• Establish and run incident commander rotations within privacy and varying severities.
• Drive post‑incident accountability: capture, assign, track, and close action items across teams.
• Gather, analyze, and report incident trends to surface systemic risks and root causes.
• Translate trend analysis into cross‑functional initiatives with broad fixes and improvements.
• Lead post‑mortems and retrospectives, socializing learnings across the organization.
• Partner with Privacy Legal on breach/notifiability assessments and communications with customers/regulators.
• Develop and maintain privacy incident response docs, playbooks, and training materials.
• Collaborate with detection engineering to improve alert fidelity and reduce noise.
• Define, track, and report incident management KPIs to leadership.
• Support cross‑functional privacy awareness training and exercises.
