Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Privacy Analyst to own the Privacy Incident Management function, reporting to the Head of Privacy. You will partner across Privacy, Privacy Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, and Communications to triage incidents involving personal data and drive continuous improvement in incident response at Coinbase.

In this role you will lead end-to-end incident management as the DRI, coordinate across teams, and maintain on-call readiness for urgent triage and escalation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in privacy, security, incident response, or risk workflows with cross-functional coordination.
• Strong ability to communicate privacy risk and incident findings to diverse audiences, with written analyses and executive summaries.
• Experience leading technical investigations in cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Privacy Incident Management program including workflows and responder enablement.
• Lead privacy incident response as DRI and Incident Commander across multiple teams.
• Maintain on-call readiness for triage, severity classification, and escalation.
• Drive retrospectives, track remediation items, and report on trends and health.
• Build cross-functional relationships to improve readiness and accountability.
• Support broader Privacy initiatives and automation projects.
