Talent Solutions Partners in Washington, DC is seeking a talented Privacy Associate to join its nationally recognized Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Practice Group. The role focuses on privacy compliance, data protection, and regulatory challenges arising from evolving laws and technologies.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, DC bar admission (or waive-into), and 1–3 years of privacy experience, with strong research and drafting skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active DC Bar admission or eligibility to waive into the D.C. Bar, in good standing.
• 1–3 years of substantive privacy, cybersecurity, or data protection experience.
• Experience advising clients on privacy compliance and related regulatory matters.
• Familiarity with U.S. privacy laws and regulations, state frameworks and federal requirements.
• Exposure to international privacy laws and cross-border compliance preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Excellent written communication with client-facing advisory work.
• Comparable law firm experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on privacy compliance and data governance across industries.
• Assist with regulatory compliance involving U.S. and international privacy frameworks.
• Conduct privacy and cybersecurity due diligence in corporate transactions.
• Draft and update privacy policies and data processing agreements.
• Support cybersecurity preparedness, incident response, investigations, and risk management.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance on privacy/cybersecurity requirements.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex regulatory matters.
