Axiom Path is partnering with a leading global financial institution to recruit a privacy risk and compliance professional. This role focuses on embedding privacy-by-design, conducting PIAs and DPIAs, and aligning with GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations across regions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with IT, Legal, Information Security, Procurement, and business teams, driving practical guidance, risk controls, and governance across enterprise programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of privacy, compliance, or risk management experience.
  • Hands-on in PIAs/DPIAs or similar privacy assessments.
  • Strong understanding of global privacy regs (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into business guidance.
  • Experience working across IT, Legal, and Security teams.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct privacy risk assessments including PIAs and DPIAs across initiatives.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for stakeholders.
  • Partner with IT, Procurement, Legal, Infosec, and business teams on data handling practices.
  • Support privacy-by-design principles across projects and workflows.

Requirements

Are you an experienced privacy risk and compliance professional ready to make an impact?

  • 5 7 years of experience in privacy, compliance, or risk management roles
  • Strong hands-on experience conducting PIAs, DPIAs, or similar privacy assessments
  • Solid understanding of global privacy regulations and frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into business-friendly guidance
  • Experience working cross-functionally with IT, Legal, and Security teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and documentation rigor
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with privacy and compliance terminology and frameworks
