Our client, an international AmLaw 50 firm, seeks a talented Privacy Associate to join its Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Practice Group in Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active DC Bar admission (or eligibility to waive into the DC Bar), in good standing.
• Experience advising clients on privacy compliance and data protection.
• Familiarity with U.S. privacy laws and regulations.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on privacy compliance and data protection requirements across industries.
• Assist with regulatory compliance efforts involving U.S. and international privacy frameworks.
• Conduct privacy and cybersecurity due diligence in corporate transactions.
• Draft, review, and update privacy policies and data processing agreements.
• Support cybersecurity preparedness, incident response, investigations, and risk management.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex regulatory matters.
