We are currently seeking a Privacy Analyst to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas (US-AR), United States (US).

The Junior Privacy Analyst, working closely with the senior privacy analyst, will be a key contributor in providing privacy services to the DHS Privacy Office. Responsibilities include evaluating privacy program effectiveness, assessing risks and vulnerabilities, identifying control gaps, reviewing reports for accuracy, and managing remediation efforts. The candidate may also conduct independent privacy assessments or contribute to privacy IV&V activities.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  1. Analysis and understanding of the client’s overall privacy program and posture
  2. Identifying and documenting detailed remediation recommendations
  3. Understanding relevant laws and regulations related to security and privacy requirements
  4. Assisting with policy reviews under the direction of the Privacy Officer
  5. Reviewing documents, contracts, and agreements for compliance with regulatory requirements
  6. Participating in assessments
  7. Conducting independent research for the Privacy Officer
  8. Recording and tracking subpoena requests
  9. Researching requests for changes in records (billing, SNAP, etc.)
  10. Assisting with audits (IRS, SS, FBI, FOIA, etc.)
  11. Preparing reports for DHS executive leadership
  12. Reviewing policies to identify and implement privacy best practices
  13. Performing data cleaning analysis to improve data quality
  14. Determining relevant data for analysis and preparing reports
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum six years of experience with IT audits, assessments, HIPAA, CMS MARS-E, NIST controls, IT governance, risk, compliance, or related fields
  • One or more privacy or security certifications such as IAPP, CHPC, CIPP, CISA, CISM, CISSP
  • Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Skills:
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields
  • Experience with State DHS Privacy and/or Security
  • Deep understanding of security and privacy controls
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of NIST, MARS-E, CMS frameworks
  • Ability to interpret technical jargon
  • Strong client and vendor relationship management skills

Salary range for this remote role: $79,920 - $120,000, depending on experience and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more. Compensation may include incentives based on performance.
