We are currently seeking a Privacy Analyst to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas (US-AR), United States (US).

The Junior Privacy Analyst, working closely with the senior privacy analyst, will be a key contributor in providing privacy services to the DHS Privacy Office. These services include evaluating the effectiveness of privacy programs, assessing risks and vulnerabilities, identifying control gaps, reviewing reports for consistency and accuracy, and managing remediation efforts. The candidate may also conduct independent privacy assessments or contribute to privacy independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  1. Analysis and comprehension of client’s overall privacy program and posture
  2. Identifying and documenting detailed remediation recommendations
  3. Understanding relevant laws and regulations for security and privacy requirements
  4. Assist on policy reviews under the direction of the Privacy Officer
  5. Review documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  6. Participate in assessments
  7. Conduct independent research on behalf of the Privacy Officer
  8. Help record and track subpoena requests
  9. Research requests for changes in records for billing, SNAP, etc.
  10. Assist in completing audits (IRS, SS, FBI, FOIA, etc.)
  11. Prepare reports for DHS C-level leadership
  12. Review policies to assist DHS in identifying and implementing privacy best practices
  13. Perform data cleaning analysis to identify data quality issues
  14. Determine appropriate data to analyze and prepare required reports
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum six years of combined experience working with a combination of the following:
  • IT Audits and Assessments
  • HIPAA, CMS MARS-E, and NIST Security and Privacy control frameworks
  • IT governance, risk, compliance (GRC), auditing, drafting security plans, and conducting risk assessments

• Hold one or more privacy or security certifications such as IAPP, CHPC, CIPP, CISA, CISM, CISSP

• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Skills:
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields
  • Experience working with State DHS Privacy and/or Security
  • Comprehensive understanding of security and privacy controls
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Thorough understanding of NIST, MARS-E, CMS Certification Frameworks
  • Ability to understand and translate technical jargon
  • Advanced client and vendor relationship management skills

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $79,920 - $120,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s work location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on performance.

This position is eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance with employer contribution, flexible spending or HSA, life and AD&D insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, 401k with company match, and additional benefits as applicable.
