Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technology Program Manager to implement privacy compliance obligations and drive large cross-functional initiatives for Amazon Shopping. You will partner with business and technical leaders to raise the privacy bar and design scalable solutions for regulatory compliance.

You will oversee end-to-end privacy programs, coordinate with legal and product teams, and guide engineers and product managers on privacy controls across fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and release schedules.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
• Experience identifying and solving complex problems through data analysis.
• Experience communicating with executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Proactive and able to meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and driving compliance to global privacy-related regulations across AI shopping initiatives.
• Partnering with legal and other teams to implement regulatory and market compliance needs.
• Creating clear guidance for developers and product managers on privacy controls.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Scoping, planning, implementing, and delivering privacy programs with cross-functional teams.
• Owning delivery of large cross-functional initiatives while tracking smaller projects.
• Leading discovery and prioritization with product and engineering leads for privacy programs.
• Establishing metrics and reporting for performance and compliance.
• Evaluating solution designs to simplify and accelerate time-to-market.
• Communicating plans, status, and issues clearly.
• Conducting deep-dive privacy and regulatory assessments.
