Job summary

Pluralsight is seeking a seasoned attorney to support Privacy, Product and Marketing compliance, SaaS contract review, and IP matters. The role emphasizes AI/ML, EU AI Act, and collaboration across the broader legal team.

You will guide internal stakeholders on privacy, security, and regulatory developments, manage outside counsel, and help shape data governance policies. This position requires strong communication and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years substantive legal experience with a legal department or nationally recognized law firm.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• In-house SaaS experience and privacy expertise are highly desirable.
• CIPP/US or CIPM certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Chief AI, Privacy and Digital Risk Counsel across Privacy, Cybersecurity, and AI.
• Review and negotiate SaaS agreements, DPAs, NDAs, and vendor contracts with privacy/AI terms.
• Guide Marketing on CAN-SPAM, TCPA, DNC, and EU AI Act compliance.
• Advise on IP matters, including trademarks, copyright, and brand protection.
• Support product development and other legal initiatives; coordinate with outside counsel.
