Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of data privacy, data protection and/or data security experience.
• Demonstrated interest in the field; CIPP certification.
• Some AI experience preferred.
• Experience with incident response and data breach matters preferred.
• Strong academic record and excellent research/writing; detail-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills, good work ethic, initiative.
• Active state bar admission or eligible to waive in.

Responsibilities

• Provide privacy counseling and guidance to clients.
• Review and draft data retention policies, data privacy and data processing agreements, incident response plans, incident reports, and breach notifications.
• Assist with data breach response matters and coordinate with incident response teams.
• Handle AI matters and stay current with state/federal privacy/AI laws and cybersecurity regulations.
