Job summary

Columbia-Greene Community College is seeking qualified, student-centered educators to join its Prison Education Program (PEP) adjunct faculty. Instructors will conduct in-person classes through the DOCCS and OCFS facilities, with assignments based on departmental needs and instructor qualifications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field.
• Additional qualifications may be required depending on the subject area and accreditation standards.
• PEP adjunct faculty teaching in DOCCS or OCFS facilities may be subject to a comprehensive background check, fingerprinting, and a TB test.
• Additionally, faculty assigned to a DOCCS facility will need to complete volunteer training with the Office of Volunteer Services before they can begin teaching courses.
