Job summary

Vertex Elite Solutions in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Prisma Access / SASE Engineer to deploy and optimize Palo Alto's cloud-delivered security platform across distributed enterprise environments.

You will design, configure, and troubleshoot Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and SSE/ZTNA solutions, collaborating with network, cloud, and security teams to ensure secure connectivity and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT, telecom, or related field.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto security technologies and Prisma Access.
• Proven Prisma Access/SASE implementation experience.
• Understanding of SASE/SSE architectures.
• ZTNA deployments experience.
• Experience with GlobalProtect remote access.
• Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager experience.
• IPsec/SSL VPN technologies knowledge.
• BGP and OSPF routing expertise.
• NGFW administration and secure connectivity focus.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support Prisma Access and Prisma SASE solutions.
• Implement SASE and SSE architectures and secure connectivity.
• Configure and manage GlobalProtect and ZTNA environments.
• Administer Prisma Access policies, routing, and connectivity services.
• Manage firewall policies, threat prevention, URL filtering, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot IPsec and SSL VPN connectivity.
• Support BGP/OSPF routing in enterprise networks.
• Manage Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager platforms.
• Implement SWG, CASB, FWaaS capabilities when applicable.
• Document security standards and operational procedures.
