Job summary

Voices for Independence is seeking a dedicated Priority Care Specialist to provide weekend coverage and ensure continuity of care for consumers relying on in-home services.

You will respond to urgent needs, coordinate with caregivers and scheduling teams, and maintain person-centered support outside of traditional business hours. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required, with up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Maximum 2 years experience in home care, personal assistance, or a related field.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel frequently.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond calmly to urgent situations.
  • Proficient communication skills (oral and written).
  • Reliable, dependable, and strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver care when needed.
  • Monitor visit activity through HHA Exchange.
  • Follow up with caregivers who have not clocked in.
  • Coordinate in real time with scheduling and on-call teams during coverage hours.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Priority Care Specialist to join our team for weekend coverage. In this vital role, you are responsible for maintaining continuity or care for consumers by providing direct coverage during emergency call- offs, caregiver no shows, or unstaffed shifts weekday and weekend operations.

Duties
  • Deliver care when needed
  • -Monitor visit activity through HHA Exchange
  • Performs follow up with caregivers who have not clocked in
  • - ensures real time coordination with the scheduling and on call teams during assigned coverage hours.
  • - This role plays a critical part in strengthening VFI reliability, protecting service delivery, and ensuring that consumers receive consistent, person - centered support even outside of traditional business hours.
Qualifications

  • Must possess a valis driver's license and have the ability to travel frequently and flexibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectivley, and respond calmly to urgent situations.
