Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process medication prior authorization requests across all clinic locations.
• Review patient charts to ensure completeness before submission.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to obtain supporting information.
• Submit requests via payer portals, electronic systems, fax, or phone.
• Monitor status and follow up with insurers for timely approvals.
• Communicate determinations and appeals requirements to care teams.
• Maintain documentation in the EHR for all activities.
• Track turnaround times and identify barriers to access.
• Resolve coverage issues and suggest formulary alternatives when needed.
